Participant Code of Conduct & Event Policies

Time: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Registration opens at 7:30 AM)
Location: Wingspan Event & Conference Center, 801 NE 34th Ave, Hillsboro, OR 97124
1. Purpose
NEDME is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and professional environment for everyone involved. This code outlines the expectations and policies for all attendees to ensure a positive experience for all participants.
2. Code of Conduct
All attendees are expected to behave professionally and respectfully at all times. Harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:
- Harassment or intimidation of any kind
- Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention
- Offensive, discriminatory, or abusive language or behavior
- Disruption of speakers, exhibitors, or sessions
Attendees may not engage in business promotion, sales activity, or product demonstration unless they are registered exhibitors. Anyone attempting to conduct commercial activity on the expo floor without an official booth may be removed from the event.
If you experience or witness any inappropriate behavior, please notify event staff or contact the NEDME planning committee.
3. Identification Badges
Badges must be worn and visible at all times while in the facility.
- Badges are non-transferable
- Lost badges may be replaced at the discretion of event staff
4. Photography & Media
Photography and video recording are permitted unless otherwise posted.
By attending NEDME, you consent to be photographed or recorded for use in future promotional or archival materials.
If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify event staff at registration.
5. Health & Safety
All local, state, and venue-specific safety policies will be followed. Attendees are expected to respect personal space and hygiene norms in all areas of the event.
6. Entry, Participation & Data Sharing
The NEDME planning committee reserves the right to refuse or revoke access to any attendee in violation of these policies. No refunds will be given for removal due to misconduct.
By registering for and attending NEDME, attendees acknowledge and agree that the contact information they provide at registration may be shared with exhibitors. Exhibitors may use this information to follow up with attendees after the event.
7. Liability
By attending NEDME, you assume all risks associated with participation. NEDME, its organizers, sponsors, volunteers, and the Wingspan Event & Conference Center are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to persons or property.
